Pants for Pets: El Centro FFA's Dog Toy Service Project

The El Centro FFA chapter made a remarkable contribution to the Imperial County Humane Society during National FFA’s Week of Service Campaign by creating 479 dog toys. Led by senior member Amber Weller, the dedicated students from the leadership team and community service committee organized a school-wide jean drive. The donated jeans provided material for the creation of durable and much-need dog toys for a local animal shelter.

State Officer Update: State Officers Reflect on Memorable Year of Service and Achievements of Members
As the term for the 2022-2023 California FFA State Officers draws to a close, we reflect on the experiences and memories we have gained during our travels across the state. These unforgettable moments will stay with us for a lifetime.
In March, we passed the torch to the newly elected State FFA Officer Team, and we are excited to witness the impactful work they will accomplish during their year of service. We have complete confidence in their ability to continue and redefine California FFA.
State Officers Retire From Year of Service
The 2022-23 State Officers have spent an entire year serving California FFA. Their service has enriched the lives of many members across the state as they served as ambassadors for agricultural education. During the conference, each officer has taken the stage to share their retiring address.
State FFA Leadership Conference Closing Session
ONTARIO, Calif. — Future Farmers of America (FFA) members and supporters from across the state of California returned to the Toyota Arena for the closing session of the 95th State FFA Leadership Conference in Ontario.
Members that have served on the Executive Committee for the past year were recognized and thanked for their dedication to the organization.
Conference Ambassadors, Courtesy Corps, and Press Corps members were also acknowledged for their assistance and efforts in helping make state conference successful.
2023 State FFA Leadership Conference Talent
FFA State Talent finalists, Zena Scott (Brentwood-Liberty FFA) and Adrian Soto (Santa Rosa FFA), showcased their skills for California FFA members. Members voted on the winner of “FFA’s Got Talent” and the winner will be announced during the closing session tomorrow.
State FFA Leadership Conference Sixth Session
ONTARIO Calif. — Future Farmers of America (FFA) members and supporters from across the state of California returned to the Toyota Arena for the sixth session of the 95th State FFA Leadership Conference in Ontario, with the theme of “Redefine Connection.”
The Distinguished Service Citation is reserved for those few who provide assistance of an outstanding nature to the FFA organization. This year’s awards were presented to UC Farm Smart and Intuitive.
