Watsonville FFA recently hosted a fun-filled carnival for the entire community. The evening event featured music, a bounce house, a balloon artist, face painting, traditional carnival games, themed photo backdrops, and classic carnival food. With more than 100 people attending the inaugural event, the chapter hopes to make it an annual tradition. “It was a fantastic night,” said Vivienne Moran, Chapter Reporter. “We wanted to do something for the community and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy what Watsonville FFA has to offer.” Many items and services were donated by supporters of Watsonville FFA, and sales from the food helped subsidize the cost of the event. “This event was about educating our community about what FFA is and the offerings at Watsonville High,” commented Moran. Current Watsonville FFA members hope that activities like this will keep their FFA program thriving for many years to come.
