Dear California FFA Supporter,
I am a researcher at the University of Arizona studying Generation Z’s philanthropic engagement within the agrofood sector. The research will be based upon the experiences of those who have volunteered time or given money to an agricultural, food-focused, or rural-serving organization.
As someone involved with California FFA, you are a contributor to at least one such organization, making your insights very valuable as a potential participant in our study. If you are within Generation Z, you would be eligible to join.
As a participant, you will engage in one 45 to 60-minute interview with me discussing your experience in giving. Your interview will be used to broaden our understanding of Generation Z as a donor base, helping nonprofits such as the one you have partnered with connect to the upcoming age group. You will also receive a thank-you gift of a $15 digital gift card to Amazon.
If you would like to participate, please fill out this short survey to confirm your eligibility.
An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
Thank you for your commitment to improving the world through your investment into the agrofood sector! We look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Weslee Green
