94th National FFA Convention & Expo: California Results

California FFA had another strong showing at National Convention last week in Indianapolis. In total, California FFA has six National Agricultural Proficiency winners, two National FFA Agriscience Fair winners, and five Career and Leadership Development Event National Champions.

National Agricultural Proficiency Winners:

-Agricultural Sales – Placement: Emily Wise, Bakersfield Christian FFA

-Dairy Production – Entrepreneurship: Hartley Silva, Modesto

-Diversified Crop Production – Entrepreneurship: Peter Bliss, Merced-Golden Valley

-Equine Science – Placement: Layton Lee Oswald, Oakdale

-Specialty Crop Production – Entrepreneurship/Placement: Savanah Downs, Bakersfield Christian FFA

-Wildlife Production and Management – Entrepreneurship/Placement: Mason Haworth, Central Valley Christian FFA

National FFA Agriscience Fair Winners:

-Environmental Services and Natural Resource Systems, Divison 3, 1st Place: Brennan Elszy, Hanford FFA

-Social Sciecne, Divison 4, 1st Place: Emily Pan and Talia Zundel, San Luis Obispo FFA
