High school students around the state are donning their caps and gowns this month. Thanks to the generous support of California FFA Foundation sponsors, many FFA members will be continuing their education with state FFA scholarships.
During the 94th Annual State Leadership Conference held in March, approximately $90,000 in scholarships were awarded to 48 FFA members from across California. Scholarship winners must apply for the scholarships and meet a number of requirements, including holding their State FFA Degree and pursuing a higher education with a declared major in agriculture. Applications are typically due in December each year.
The California FFA Foundation would like to extend a special thank you to all the businesses and individuals who make the state FFA scholarship program a success each year. These scholarships have a big impact on FFA members, and are a practical way to encourage students to pursue a career in agriculture.
