Made For Excellence (MFE) and Advanced Leadership Academy (ALA) - Mar 5-6, 2021

MFE is all about a student understanding who they are and how they can build trust, show vulnerability and give empathy in order to develop relationships to ultimately influence those around them. This conference is about "WE: knowing that leadership starts by first believing in ourselves in order to build our confidence to serve others." 

ALA focuses on a student’s discovery of how to work with others and accomplish a shared goal. Through the process of analyzing program needs and improving a chapter project or event, students uncover how to be teams of innovative leaders. This conference about "DO: the individual leader, their relationship with others and how to enact change within their chapters and communities." 

During the 2021 conference season, both conferences will be held entirely online, using both Articulate and Zoom. Students will gain access to an online course through the platform Articulate where they will complete a series of lessons. While completing this course, they will have scheduled Zoom calls during the Friday/Saturday they are registered. During the Zoom calls, students will interact with three of the six State Officers along with other sophomores or juniors from around the state. Students will be emailed links gaining access to the Articulate course and Zooms a few days prior to the Friday they are registered.
